I am still tired of waiting for someone to get this shit right, and put SP4 Blakey name and face on this video. He was Killed in Feb 69, hes on the wall. COME ON SOME ONE GET IT RIGHT WHILE WE ARE STILL ALIVE. JOHN CHECK THIS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brother Taylor,
I've located the Virtual Wall entry for Spec 4 Blakey, along with a number of other resources
which I have provided to Joe. I posted at the Bulletin Board to encourage others who knew him to respond with whatever memories they may have as well. I am posting his high school picture on my album in the gallery - it is the only photo I know of so far.

Dan,

Thank you for your note. Also, I done a research on Peter Taylors request to include Sp4 Blakey to the memorial portion of my video, which I would gladly oblige, however, I am unable to verify him being assigned to the 9th MP Co. He may have been at the unit compound at the time of the attack, though I have to check with John Patterson on his opinion in this matter. I do not wish to cross the boundries here. As for my recovery, I am still in a limbo until I get my "Ticker," repaired. Thank you again. JB

Joe,

It's wonderful to hear that you are recovering.

I've been doing some research on the 5 MPs memorialized in your video. Sp4 Blakley is a name I'm not familiar with, yet. Do you have more information?

Brother Taylor,

My name is joe Borza , the video is my production. I am not sure if you were the one that sent me a note about needing to include Sp4 Blakley in the memorial portion of the video, if you are I am truly sorry for the delay. After receiving your note, I fell into a serious health issue and have only lately been able to have enough energy to do daily routines. No one else can edit the video but me, and I promise you I am as interested in getting that right as you are. I will do my best to get this video remade, hopefully with more content as soon as I am able and have the energy. If you feel offended with the video being available for viewing until it is corrected, I will contact John to heve him help me suspend it temporarily. OK? Should you wish to contact my with any additional content that could be included, please write to me @---------jborza@cranepublishing.net
Sincerely,

Welcome home brother.

I was with the 9th Infantry in Vietnam from 67-68 at Dong Tam. Lt. Wolever was my company commander. I helped build hooches , went on patrols... I was also there the year we got in a bad batch of turkeys that gave us food poisoning. Did my time. I ETS'ed from Dong Tam... Good Bless those "5" we have lost... They were great buddies... Bob

That was very good presentation, I enjoyed it , but want to add a name to the list of lost brothers . Michael Archie Blakey, killed by mortar attact on January 14, 1969. If possible please make this correction. Thanks Pete Taylor

John, Happy 4th of July to you and all the guy's.

I regret that I was unable to keep my promise having the Video (Full DVD) finished by the 4th as I had planned. I guess I had spent too much time digging and planning how to get it on the WEBSITE. After figuring out the steps needed I reconfigured the theme and broke up the story into several sections, this way I will be able to put different segments on the SITE. Maybe I am to ambitious, but there is so much to a story like this, though maybe I am just looking at this from my side. I hope not.
I want to also say that this Holiday, the 4th of July is a very special day for us all, but it represents an even greater day for me as I look back at my life here in these wonderful and great United States of America. If you had previewed my publishing site and read the sample reading, you will understand why it is so special for me. Here I went again, sorry for the long wind, again have a wonderful Holiday , Be safe and give my best to you and yours.
JB
